Current Mood: Disappointed

Well I spent the entire day yesterday painting my son’s room with what I thought was a blue color after all his bedspread had multiple shades of blue in it, how could I miss right?  I started painting at around 9AM and finished about 10pm.  It looked awesome until I put his drapes and bedspread in there and low and behold it looked more purple next to it than blue.  I am totally disgusted and yes,  I wasn’t smart enough to take his drapes down there to make sure it matched. Knocks self in head several times.  Soooooo  I went down to Walmart  today and got the paint that actually matched his drapes (yes, I actually took them with me this time) So looks like I’m repainting tomorrow. Hubby says I’m nuts and am a glutton for punishment but he knows what a perfectionist I am and I wont be able to let it go.  (I hate that about myself) I thought of getting a new bedspread to match the walls but my son threw a fit because then he couldn’t have his superman bedspread anymore (He’s a superhero nut) so after lots of tears on his part I agreed to repaint. UGH!!  I can’t believe I’m doing this. Well major lesson learned. NEVER assume the color your looking at is gonna match unless you have the material in your hot little hand. sigh.
